Can you write letters to mexico from army basic?

I'm leaving to army basic training in a few weeks and i have someone special that's leaving to Guadalajara Mexico and we were wondering if it was possible to write letters from Fort Knox to Guadalajara Mexico , I said it was possible but the truth is i really don't know haha so if i could get an answer soon that would be great
