How do you feel about the bailout? How would you handle it differently if you were in charge?

I feel that instead of addressing the root of the problem it just makes the problem worse. Since F.D.R. introduced the New Deal, the richest of the rich have been working to dismantle it. Milton Friedman and Reagan started the money flow from the poor and middle cl to the rich and it's been flowing that way until the present. The bailout bill is just another extension of the free market, trickle down b.s. If I were in charge I'd make a new New Deal, tax the **** out of the rich, get our troops back not just from Iraq and Afghanistan but from everywhere they're currently stationed worldwide, drastically cut our outrageous defense budget and all corporate subsidies, restore the nation's social safety net, implement a universal health care system based on european models, make reproductive education part of our national education system and push for reduced reproduction education and government stabilization worldwide. There's much more, but I've ranted long enough.
