How to hint back I like him?

So in my last question I was askin bout this guy tht may like me. He rubs his feet on mine and stuff. So my question for UUUU is how can I subtly hint I like him without overdoing it. Like sitting on his lap and making out with him might be to over the top....so how can I hint it. Also I'm not sure if he's gay so if there are any signs for me to watch out for please tell me
