What is the treatment for throat cancer?

Me and my dad did not get along after my mom died but I'm not going into detail with that but last week my dad was working in a basement cutting up cement and was using a gas chainsaw he ended up being life flitted to pittsburg for carbon monoxide poisoning and while being treated for that they noticed that he has throat cancer now how do they actually treat someone with that me and my dad dont actually get along really well but he is my dad and I'm willing to forgive him about everything and I am also worried to death about him thanks
